Oklahoma Driver License

If you want a normal Oklahoma Driver License (also known as a Non-REAL ID Driver License or Non-Compliant Driver License), then you need to only bring your Oklahoma Driver license with you to renew. However if you have lost your Oklahoma Driver license, please try to bring an original or certified State Issued Birth Certificate or unexpired US Passport with you to verify your identity. 


IF YOUR LICENSE IS MORE THAN 3 YEARS EXPIRED, then you must go to a Service Oklahoma Licensing and Exam Center (former Department of Public Safety Offices) to get an Oklahoma Driver license.

However we are pleased to announce that we can now issue first time Learner's Permits and Transfer Driver Licenses and ID cards from Out of State. Please visit the Service Oklahoma website for a list of full requirements of documents to bring to your visit.

If you want a REAL ID Oklahoma Driver License (also known as a REAL ID Compliant Driver License), then you will need to bring documentation mandated by the Department of Homeland Security.

If you have already obtained an Oklahoma REAL ID Driver License then you do not need to bring documentation with you to renew, you only need your license.

Oklahoma State ID

If you want to renew your normal Oklahoma State ID (also known as a Non-REAL ID Oklahoma State ID), then you only need to bring your previous Oklahoma State ID with you to renew. However, if you have lost your Oklahoma State ID, please try to bring an original or certified State Issued Birth Certificate or unexpired US Passport with you to verify your identity.

If you want to obtain a REAL ID Oklahoma State ID and you already have an Oklahoma State ID, then you will need to bring documentation mandated by the Department of Homeland Security.

Oklahoma CDL Renewals

Our location is able to process Oklahoma CDL Renewals with Valid Medical Cards/Certificates already on file.  

****WE CANNOT RENEW CDLS WITH: a medical card that needs to be uploaded, medical exemption,    Hazmat, K Restriction or endorsements needing to be added. These must be renewed at a Service Oklahoma Licensing & Exam Center.

Our location is also able to process Voluntary CDL Downgrades to Class D Licenses.

The following cannot be processed at our location and must visit a Service Oklahoma Licensing & Exam Center for processing:

· Original Commercial Learner Permits

· Original CDL

· Out of State CDL Transfers to Oklahoma

· Out of State CDL Testers

Oklahoma Learner Permits

Learner Permits for 15-16 year olds must be held for at least 6 months prior to obtaining an Intermediate License. They are able to drive from the hours of 5am-10pm accompanied by a licensed driver over the age of 21 years old.

For a 15-16 year old to obtain a Learner Permit, the following documentation is required: 

1.  Primary ID - One primary proof of identification

2.  Social Security number - Physical card is not required.

3.  A parent or legal guardian - If you are under the age of 18, you must have a parent or legal guardian with you.

If a parent is not present, you must bring in a notarized Parent Authorization Form to obtain a new License.

4.  Proof of Purchase, Enrollment Contract, or Completion Certificate

Bring in your enrollment contract or completion certificate from the Commercial or public Driver Education school which you are attending or have attended.

If you do not have the above and were taught by a parent then you must bring the Parent Taught Affidavit (email printout) WITH the Parent Taught Driver’s Ed Purchase Receipt.

The Oklahoma Written Knowledge Test is now available online. We have testing booths available at our location at no charge to the customer. You can also access the Oklahoma Written Knowledge Test  from the comfort of your own home.
